I hope that the front of the site becoming more business will be better for us in the long run. Stay tuned for more updates about the business as we become a partnership and a store, rather than just a tarot and hypnotherapy site.

We’ve decided that profits get divided into three shares, one for each of us and one to go back into the company, but there are more things that we have to sort out still, like what we’re going to be selling exactly, what we will keep on hand, what we will drop ship, what type of shopping cart we’re going to use, if we’re going to Fed-Ex or UPS or just use the postal service.

There are many decisions that have to be made and finalized. Hopefully we can keep going.

So, this site will have all the tarot, hypnotherapy and jewelry info, a new store section for new age supplies and other things like that, but the “Ask Catriona” and all the bloggy stuff, the updates, the random musings, supernatural stories and experiences they will be on the blog.

I’m still going to run the main site off the wordpress engine, so you can still get updates and specials announcements and things will be over there, but I’m going to change the headers around just a little bit. The themes will still be the same and once I’m done with all my updates you’ll be able to interchange back and forth between the two sections without much fuss at all. I’ve been hoping to do this for a while but I’ve been a bit nervous and I was waiting on some “down time” and a time where I felt I had all the energy to do this, and given my creativity has been coming back a bit lately where I’m actually being able to make jewelry and sit down with my wholesaling information and sort out supplies and things I think it’s time to make a go of it.

how do spirits manifest pictures? I woke up one morning and in midair was a very vivid picture of a dark headed man in a hospital gown lying on his side. It scared me to death and it only lasted approx 4-5 seconds. I have contacted people who are trying to give me answers, but i would like alot of opions. why me? im not a physic or anything and this was a truly weird occurance. I dont doubt other people now when they say they have seen an image. this was in the form kinda like a projector but more clear and very colorful. I didnt reconize the man either, but before I saw it other things were happening in my home. any advice or info. thanks Kayla

Firstly, I don’t believe you have to be a “psychic” to witness spirits. There are lots of tales of people seeing ghosts who weren’t actively psychic, in the sense, of working as a medium or tarot reader. However usually if a spirit shows itself to you it has a reason. It may be that for some reason you were manifesting an unusual amount of energy that day, or that spirit may have a particular connection to you, being someone that cares about you or that you care about deeply or someone that is related to you in some way, a relative.

There’s no concrete and definitive explanation for how ghosts appear in pictures and on film, for some it’s to do with the energy that a ghost has in them, that even though they might not be visible to the naked eye for some reason that energy interferes with a picture and shows up as an orb or in some cases an outline of a person, although a lot of times those sorts of pictures ARE found to be a double-exposure on the film, however with digital cameras it’s more difficult to do a double exposure but easier to fake a picture afterwards in Photoshop, a few tricks with opacity and you can turn yourself into a ghost.

Ghosts appearing in mirrors and pictures that are already hanging on the wall, for example, that’s more again to do with psychic energy. I find it easier to catch glimpses of spirits if I’m not looking directly, it’s a bit like looking at a Magic Eye picture, you can find it when you’re not focusing, when you’re not trying as hard to see it.

So, I have no answer really as to how or why a ghost might be able to show up in a picture just that they apparently can. I’ve taken shots of orbs myself, and seen orbs in other people’s pictures. Some orbs I’ve seen are clearly reflections of something else that was caught in the picture, but others they have no explanation. Other than somehow the energy that a spirit generates by remaining on this plane too long is picked up in the camera, or by you only as a reflection and can then be processed by your brain in a way that it wouldn’t normally be able to be.

I’ve also debated making the front show a static page…but I’m just not sure enough about how this will affect things and if I’ll really make things more complicated rather than simplifying as I’m trying to do.

I need to put Meebo back on (although I really haven’t been using that for the past three or four months), and I’m thinking of reinstalling Twitter as well. Some of the things I was complaining about with it before were really me feeling obligated to do things that I don’t have to do. Twitter is only as invasive as you make it.

Anyway, I’ve had a set-up to wholesale some New Age supplies for a while, but I haven’t felt up to messing around with trying to sort out how I would do that and how to get set-up, but I may give it a try. I’ll have to see. These sort of things are a lot of work and often times my health isn’t up to the hassle. I’d rather make sure I can do things completely than do them half-way and make things horrendous.

I’m hoping to keep up with things. My main computer is no longer riddled with spyware and things but this laptop really needs a ram upgrade. We’re debating getting an additional external hard drive for the other computer. They have some good deals on terabyte drives, but I’m debating just cannibalizing this laptop for parts and using it to build a better one.
