I was browsing for various things on Google and found this which I thought I would share.

Money Spells - Good Fortune.

You Will Need:
A Candle To represent yourself
An Orange candle to represent sudden change
A Silver or Grey candle to represent neutralization of the bad luck
A Black candle to represent negativity
A Magenta candle to hurry along the luck changing process.

The Spell:
This spell is best done on the night of a full moon.

Anoint the candles with a prosperity oil, and set them in sturdy fireproof holders on your altar.

Anoint the Black candle from the end to the wick, and anoint the rest from the end to the wick.

Light the candle which represents yourself and say:

” This is me, everything which represents me”

Light the Grey / Silver candle and say:

” This neutralize any remnants of bad luck, they will dissolve into nothingness”

Light the Orange candle and say:

” This represents the changes for good which are coming into my life, I welcome them with open arms”

Light the Magenta candle and say:

” This is the astral energy which I need to speed up the change”

Now sit for several minutes repeating the following to yourself:

” I welcome change, I welcome the incoming good”

Let the candles burn down completely and dispose of the wax.

I’ll have to see how reliable this is.

Key talismans are very potent and should be used whenever there is a new door/aspect of life that is to be unlocked. For example to find a new job, or open doors for you in the current one, or more directly when trying to find a new/better place to live.

Take a small metal key and place it before you on your alter, and either write the name of the person you wish to benefit on a piece of paper that is beneath the key or concentrate upon the image of them in your mind while you say the incantation necessary.

Here are two sample incantations that I had written in one of my notebooks.

To find work:

Key, key, you are the power through the Lord and of the Lady, here in me, and here I say,
Give this [man/woman] [name] the employment he/she desires.
Open the door of good for them
Open the door of their desire
Open the door,
Let it beopen,
Let them enter on that work which satisfies their need and will,
Fulfill and bless all of their days
This is your message; this is your aim,
This is your power which now begins.

To find housing:

Key, key, you are the power through the Lord and of the Lady, here in me, and here I say,
Give this [man/woman] [name] the dwelling place of their desire,
A place of blessing, comfort, ease and safety, warm with human good,
And make this place in all ways home to all their needs
This is your message; this is your aim,
This is your power which now begins

You may chose to light a candle and leave the key before it until the candle burns down, select whichever sort you feel is best. The aim of the burning candle is to channel and reinforce the message and potency of the talisman.
To also amplify the energies you can place the key on a reflective surface to reflect the light back through from the other side. The key should be worn by the person it was enchanted for as a pendant either on a thong or a silver colored chain underneath their clothing.
Provided the subject is constantly seeking that which the key was enchanted for things should start to come together in 3-5 weeks, according to my notes.

In honor of the newest member of our family fluffy ginger tabby Nimue Caledonia. I thought I would share some spells related to cats.

This first one comes from Topaz’s Temple of Bast

You need:
1 brown candle
2 T of catnip
2 pinches of mugwort
2 pinches of sweetgrass
A dash of lemon
Cloth pouch for you
Catnip toy or pouch for cat

The catnip is to create a psychic bond with your cat, the mugwort is to strengthen your psychic bond, the sweetgrass is to aid you in the calling upon of the cats spirit, and the lemon is for friendship and respect of your cats spirit.

Light your candle and place it before you. Take each herb, one at a time, and divide into two equal parts while empowering each with its meaning and visualizing becoming connected to your cat. See and feel that connection the entire time you work with your herbs.

Place half of each of the herbs in your pouch, place the other half in the pouch or cat toy for your cat.

Keep your half of the herbs with you for three days and the cats pouch or toy keep near the cats sleeping place for three day. During this time, you will meditate at least once a day with your cat in mind. Feel what it is like to be your cat. Examine the world through your cats eyes.

After three days. Bury both the pouches in your garden or burn as incense. Knowing that you are now connected to your cat. Thank the powers that be.

Call on your cats spirit to aid you in searching for answers, comfort, finding lost items, and protection. When you are finished needing her help, always return her spirit back to him. Your cat will always be there for you when you need her.

In using this for connecting with the spirit of cat passed on, place the herbs where she may be buried, and follow the same process. Her spirit will live inside forever.

I’m assembling the ingredients to put this one together over the next few days, although we seem to be bonding pretty quickly. I want to be good to our new cat.

Here’s one that’s close to my heart and that I’m glad to have rediscovered.

Knot magic is used for healing and binding. It’s best to use black cord for this one because of the nature of it’s intent.

I lay this cord on the hurt.
The hurt comes into the cord.
I tie a knot in the cord.
It is as I say.

Hurt comes into the cord.
Hurt you are trapped in the cord.
Twice trapped in the cord.
It is as I say.

Hurt comes into the cord.
Hurt you are trapped in the cord.
Thrice trapped in the cord.
It is as I say.

I take away the cord,
that holds the imprisoned hurt.
The hurt has come away.
It is as I say.

I bury the cord in the earth.
Earth, receive this cord.
Make it earth of earth.
It is as I say.

As you can imagine you tie a knot in the cord with each verse about trapping pain (hurt) in the cord, and then at the appropriate time remove the cord from the afflicted area and then bury it outside in the ground.

Color projection can be healing as well. For the most potent healing focus on the powder blue. Doing those things in tandem with the cord binding can help with the effectiveness of the message. I’ve heard it suggested the imagining yourself wrapped in a powder blue close can help ease tension and also help with sleep. I need to remember that at night.

I found a couple of spells on some note paper today which are supposed to help for banishing negative imprints, particularly those of entities or someone else’s energy that’s having a bad influence on your life.

Be confused. All is well. Now you are blessed.
You have life to nurture and nurture you.
Be calm. Be easy. Be comforted. You are blessed.

Alternately if you can identify the cause of the imprint as a previous resident speak directly to them in the most affected room.

It is time to leave here. All is well.
There is nothing here for you. You must be gone.
Go now go. Complete your passing.
Go and with our blessing and farewell.

Make sure nothing has been left behind that carries the energy field of the previous resident, in particular old writings and photographs. If they’re causing issue.

If you wish to keep something of theirs that is imprinted with a previous energy field purify it with salt; if you suspect furniture use incense to purify it.

With this I purify you of the past.
Of hurts and memories, keeping only love.

I don’t remember what book I found this in or where else I may have got it from but it’s a lovely poem and I’m grateful to have it on the inside cover of my Book of Shadows:

Lately I’ve been torn about my “Book of Shadows”. I had started to make another one in a different notebook a few months ago, because I couldn’t find my original. In the move I was able to find the original, but then I was going to transfer from one book to another and get rid of this one. A friend pointed out to me that the larger book looked a lot nicer, and gave me the inspiration to transfer a doodle I had started to the front cover like this:

I had drawn the image on a page of the second smaller book, and enlarged and colored it on this one. Doing so helped me with my re-dedication of the book, and cemented that I will keep up with it.

Some times I think that I should just scrap the hand written book all together and stick to doing things digitally; but it’s nice to have the hand written copy, and there’s a lot of power in this book. It would be a shame to get rid of it. While in some ways portions of it are out of date because I started that book when I was still in high school; it’s helpful to see the evolution of my practice of magic and there’s still wisdom in there to be shaped and learned from even if things aren’t followed quite to the letter.

I also have “The Witches Rune” inscribed on the inside cover. I’ll write that out at a later date. It’s gotten to noon and we have an appointment to get a vehicle fixed.

As my child gets older I find myself thinking of his fate in the world and how many different things may pose a danger to him. I also get comments sometimes from friends and family about what sort of pagan baby gifts could be given to young children with regards protection charms to keep them safe, and we sometimes have discussions about differences between the faiths on prayers, such as the “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” prayer:

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep;
And if I die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

The nicest version of a protection that I’ve discovered in my searches for a small child is this one.

Light without, light within
Let this magic spell begin.
Keep me guarded well, safe to be
Knowing the light walks with me.

The idea with this spell is to have your child mix together a cup of baking soda, a teaspoon of chopped dried mint and powdered clove while saying these things, and then if there’s a day where things are worrying them, you sprinkle a little in their shoes to keep them guarded.
