Just for Today
Just for today I will anger not.
This is one of the tenents of Reiki healing, which I’ve been discussing with someone on a Mom’s Forum I participate in. She was explaining to me that while I was considering holding off on learning reiki until after I was through a particularly stressful area of life that it may in fact help me to maintain my balance during that stressful time. She sent me some of the basic principles to read through and I’ve found that today while repeating them in my mind periodically they have helped me to keep balanced despite the munchkin having a huge tantrum while we were out shopping because he wanted to bring his ball in the store with us I was able to remain fairly chipper and upbeat.
I have to say that she was right with that idea. I’ll update more after I touch base with her again.
