I’m so glad when we got the Instincts we got phone insurance. Initially my husband had been wanting to get an iPhone; but our local carrier told us they could not insure the iPhone because they’ve got glass screens. So, I went back to Sprint and we bought the Instincts; which I like a lot. We have music, internet, video so I’ve been using the Instinct a lot for quick checks of web things while the computer isn’t working.
Over the weekend my husband’s phone went through the laundry but thankfully the insurance we have replaced the phone very quickly and when they found out that my husband was in law enforcement they expedited the phone for free to us so it got to us within two days instead of three to five. All we had to do was pop out the micro sd card from the old phone and into the new one and it was good to go after Mobile Sync downloaded all the contacts; which is great, given without the main computer there’s a lot of information on that phone that couldn’t be replaced any other way.

I have a really hard time coming up with gifts; this difficulty is cemented given hubbie gave me my Valentine’s presents tonight and they’re exceedingly awesome. I know the holiday isn’t about gifts, but celebrating your relationships and love for each other but I can’t help have some moments of guilt when he buys me something so ME and I have no clue really what sort of thing I could possibly get him.
He says he’s not worried about it; but I can’t help but feel outmatched on this score.
He’s not the sort of guy who really likes sports gifts, and while I probably will get him a video game it seems like a bit of a “cop out”. I remember having people on forums actually extolling me as a perfect girlfriend because I’d bought my husband the SPAWN video game one Valentine’s and they’d received plush toys or scented body wash. If it’s what he wants I shouldn’t feel as though I’m not doing so well with it. I think I screwed things up for myself getting him a punching bag when we were first going out. I really don’t have to try and out do myself or him…I think it’s just performance issues.

I’ve been recycling our soda cans and other household items such as that since the first of the year; but I’ve come to realize I’ve been doing other sorts of recycling for a while and just hadn’t thought about it.
I routinely look on Craig’s List for items, such as moving boxes when we’ve needed them, and have sold our items through there to other people. When Mum was moving last year I gave her our old computer desks to use; and she’s in turn passing them on to other people given we don’t have room for them any more. When we had our mega clean out last month I put several things up on FreeCycle including the munchkin’s old car seat (given it was accident free and fairly new it was still good). So, here I thin I’ve not been recycling and I have, just not as much as I could have been!
