My Mum and husband were joking with me the other day because I had watched an episode of “Ghost Whisperer“. My husband said it was a poorly acted and poorly made show, and my Mum was saying that her main confusion with it from the few episodes that she’d seen is that if she’s been seeing ghosts since she was that young why was she always freaking out when they showed up and screaming about it.
I’ve watched seven episodes of the first season now and to be completely honest I’m finding the show hilarious, just the way everyone deals with things. On the one hand I’m glad that the main character, Melinda, has actually told her husband and her friend about what she can do and isn’t sneaking around with it like so many main characters do, but at the same time I think that certain things about the show are kind of ridiculous, like the fact that EVERYONE she meets accuses her outright of being a con artist and a scammer, or that she goes so out of her way for all these ghosts, but then I guess without that she wouldn’t have a show.
I suppose it’s that I don’t have it in me to travel all over everywhere doing things like that, and then again I’m not “graced” with the Hollywood style ghost who is crystal clear and looks just like they did in life, and speaks clearly and makes their demands known.
I can speak on the “shocked every time” because even though I’ve been seeing and interact with spirits more clearly for at least ten years now, given my clarity and acceptance of these things came around in college…but even so I tend to be perturbed if I feel a spirit around because it is unexpected. It’s more common for me not to see them than to see them. No matter what “Ghost Whisperer” shows they don’t wander around all over the place, that I’ve seen, or maybe they don’t always choose to show themselves to me because they hear my ground rules.
Plus from what I’ve seen in my experience a lot of ghosts are content with just offers to cross them over, they don’t want huge complicated errands.
I hope this doesn’t mean I get a rash of them trying to prove me wrong. o.O

…and an actuality really. I find as I clean up around the house I feel a lot cleaner in my mind as well, as though I’m cleaning clutter in both places, airing out my thoughts and just relaxing. I think this is partially because the state of the house has been bugging me for a while, but I haven’t had the energy to deal with it because I’ve had such a case of the “blahs” for a while.
So, as I rearrange the laundry room and throw out a bunch of junk that we don’t need any more it’s like I’m also taking Sebo vacuums to my mind as well, and upping my energy and generally feeling better.
There’s still a bit to go in the house and I’m probably not going to be able to finish that until later on today or even tomorrow, with my health condition I have to be careful not to over-extend myself otherwise I’ll be unable to do anything for several days and feeling “blah” again and that won’t do anyone any good least of all me.
It’s good to clear the cobwebs out of your mind every once in a while though, because it helps to re-energize you and give you a fresh perspective, and help with a lot of things, including giving you a more positive point of view. It’s also good to clean your energy, just being around people and out and about can gunk up your energy system, you may get unwanted attachments from other people, negative energy and emotions and it can bring you down, so cleaning out your chakras and grounding yourself and cleansing yourself inside and out is a great thing to do. Once I get things the way I want around here I’m going to do another cleansing of our house. I haven’t done one since we’ve moved in and there’s been a lot of negativity being brought into our house by other people that we know and even myself and my husband through our whining and complaining about things going on with other people that we know. So, it’ll be good to get all that out, ideally I’d like to do cleansings once a month on the full moon, but I’ve really not been paying proper attention to these things.

My husband and I have been discussing the possibility of getting a new laptop for Yule. I have to rein myself in because I started browsing to see what sort of money we’d have to save up and was getting sucked in by specials and coupons and was ready to put something on credit. We don’t need another credit line right now. I can be patient.
They have all sorts of deals going on all the time. Most of the stores ask you to input your desired ROM and RAM and video card and if you want wireless or not, and then give you a list of various options that you can have whether it be Acer or Toshiba or something else. BestBuy.com actually has a laptop I was looking at for $300 less than Gateway itself BUT we don’t need the laptop right now…well, we do, but we don’t. I can get by just waiting until we’re back home from friend’s houses to type up readings I’ve been making notes on in the mean time, and I can wait until Yule for the benefits of another laptop, especially because it seems that Vista (which is all that a new laptop would have on it) will probably not be exactly compatible with my network. A friend’s suggested a MAC, which might be workable. It’s all about doing more research.
As my husband says it would be good to have the extra computer then I could do my work anywhere, and when I’m doing the graphic design work I could have it with me at friend’s house, or take it with me to client’s places and show them live mock-ups of their sites. Anyway…patience. I’m trying to teach it to my son I should learn to have more of it myself when it comes to shiny new technology.

Do you?
I changed my hair!
Well…actually a few weeks ago I did change my hair, but tonight I changed the layout of the site. I’m still tweaking some of the side bars and things a little bit, and I’m going to try and make things look a bit more professional over here.
We’ll see how well that goes.

I like to go camping every once in a while and one of the last times I did that a couple of friends came with me, and one of them has allergies to bee stings. She told us first thing where her epi-pen was and how we should help her if she was stung.
I used to have a medical id myself for the fact that I’m O-Negative blood type. However because it was etched by hand and not machine it’s worn out and I keep forgetting to replace it. I have this idea that it’s not as important as other issues because it’s not as deadly. But there are many different reasons to wear a medical id, and it’s nice to see that there are less clunky options than there used to be. I had mine etched on dog tags and wore it beneath my clothes so that no one would see, and I hear from a lot of other mothers that they have problems getting their children to wear there’s because it’s not trendy or they’re afraid they’ll get picked on for having a condition that they don’t want to advertise.
