Lifestyle Changes
It’s important when you’re trying to get healthy to commit to making lifestyle changes that will improve things overall, and to know that you’re going to stick with things like that.
I’ve cut myself down to one soda a day, in the hopes that I can perhaps even wean off the soda entirely. I’m looking to organize my exercise program. For some people when they’re doing a program like that they might take something like Phentermine but that’s not something I’m interested in doing. With my illness I take enough pills I don’t want to add any more if I can do something else instead.
For us also it’s about modeling good behavior for our son. He already knows way too much about soda, so I’d like to nip that sort of behavior in the bud. I’m not going to ban him from soda entirely, but I’d rather he view it as a treat than something that’s an acceptable to drink all the time. That sort of thing. I’m glad that he asks for fruit as well as cake and cookies, and that he will ask for water to drink, but any time there’s soda around he’s chasing around and trying to steal it. So, we need to sort hat sort of thing out.
Other than that I’m back to work. I have a couple of email requests and I’m hoping to write my notes on those while he’s napping this afternoon.
