Finding your Happy Place

One of the most beneficial exercises I’ve come across in self-hypnosis, is finding a place in your mind where everything is calm and serene and you can be tranquil and at peace without having to travel to the Outer Banks or something like that.

The exercise is quite simple and can be beneficial for everyone because it allows you to refresh in a momentary escape and come back at things with a better attitude.

It’s just as simple as spending a few minutes concentrating on your breathing, breathing slowly in and out, in through your mouth and out through your nose, each breath takes you closer to a place where you feel calm and comfortable and relaxed, where you can let go of the stresses that have been eating away at you and keep yourself in a good mindset.
