The Witches Rune
I don’t remember what book I found this in or where else I may have got it from but it’s a lovely poem and I’m grateful to have it on the inside cover of my Book of Shadows:
Darksome night and shining moon
Harken to the Witches Rune
East then South, West then North
Here I come to call these forthBy all the powers of land and sea
Be obedient unto me
Wand and pentacle, cup and sword
Harken ye unto my wordCords and censor, scourge and knife
Waken all ye into life
Powers of the witches blade
Come ye as the charge is madeQueen of heaven, field and dell
Send your aid unto this spell
Horned hunter of the night
Work my will by magick riteBy all the might of moon and sun
As I do will, it shall be done
By all the powers of land and sea
As I say, so mote it be
So there we are. The Witches Rune.

Thank you. If I can get things going more consistently I’m hoping to share more.
